Where to Vote

If you don't know where to vote, check out some of the tools online like:

Be Aware of Voter Suppression Techniques

Some voters are facing scams that are designed to keep many people from voting on November 4th. For example, some voters have reported getting robo calls telling them that they could vote by phone, or have been told that they don't have to vote until November 5th. Both are lies intended to keep some people from voting.

To read about some of the current scams, pleae visit the Voter Supression Wiki.

Be Prepared

Make sure that you have proper ID with you:

Some states don't allow you to wear tshirts, hats or pins promoting your candidate. Read more about that here:

Remind Your Friends to Vote

Be sure to remind your friends to vote. If you convince 10 friends to vote with you, it's like casting 11 votes instead of one. Email, Facebook, blogs, Twitter, Mixx — get the word out.

If you aren't American, you can still email your American friends and remind them to vote.

Send a voting report via Twitter:
